Description
The basic 2-row pale malt is an ale-style base malt. It has a rich malt flavor with hints of biscuit and nut, and contributes a rich, pale golden color to wort. It is by far the most common of all base malts, and comes from various manufacturers such as Briess, Viking, Great Western, Coopers, Crisp, Haus, Gambrinus and Bairds among others. There are various varieties of 2-row pale malt that hail from other countries such as England, Scotland, Germany, Canada, Finland and Belgium.
